The local church in Frankston Pastorate fell through with the senior leader changing his mind about moving on. At first we were gutted.
Didn't our meeting go well?
Were we not eager enough?
Did we not make a good impression?
But the Area Super said the Pastor just changed his mind. So here we are in Australia having a "call" and no idea how it is to be fulfilled. We are so bored and feeling a bit fraustrated and being "leaders" we know the "answers" but hang it all can't we just have a little screeaamm!!!
The heat here is up to 43 degrees and we could purchase a small port air conditioner they're all sold out. So here I sit blogging to keep myself sane.

Dining at the Kings Table
As I write, Keith is in Sydney enjoying a late Birthday present that the kids and I gave him. We flew him to Sydney for a couple of days break. He's sitting at a swanky restaurant right on the Sydney harbour after having spent the afternoon on a jet boat cruise of the same habour. How we suffer for the Gospel :) hahaha!!! Peel us a grape honey......

Being Strong And Courageous
It was my birthday on the 7th and last year on that day little Joshua Sams was born. I spent a quiet Wednesday thinking about all that has happened in the last 12 months. I thanked the Lord for His faithfullness and encouragement, His answer to prayer even though sometimes I didn't understand the answers and I prayed for Josh's mum and dad to continue being "Strong and Courageous" then sent a white rose bud from our garden on an out going tide at the Frankston pier. You can read about our "miracle baby" on Susies blog attached below.
This year has been BUSY. In one year we've walked with a young couple through the birth and death of their son, shifted to a new country"Australia". We arrived with two small suitcases each, from which we've established a fully furnished (thank God for Vinnies and Salvos) 4 brm comfortable home. Miraculously we now have a piano in our lounge, a keyboard, 5 guitars, 3 ukeleles and 4 kids who sing and make music constantly. We've had Nana move in with us too and Keith went to Africa for 5 weeks this year for the first time as well. We hosted Christmas for the family & friends, 45 people spent Jesus birthday with us it was excellent!!! Amidst all this we've been trying follow God because we came here to do a work for Him. Oh yeah and we've been asked to Pastor a local AOG church and are waiting to see how it pans out. All in all I sigh with relief when the end of the day draws near and I can put my feet up ahhhh!!

Who knows but God?
asked me what to mates means ?
"Why do you ask ?" I said."In nature," she continued,"the animals have mates. Is that OK?"
My immediate reaction was to send her to the All You Need To Know About Puberty book.
Instead I smiled and drew her into my arms as my mind raced frantically through the store of knowledge I was about to draw from and began with, " God made girls and boys differently sweet heart," at which point she turned to me and said, "Mum I know about all the yucky stuff I just wanna know if I can have more than one mate. Heidi is a good mate and so is Kayliegh and all I want to know is, is it Ok for me to have two mates?"
